Welcome, to the website of Marine & Cannon Books, Naval & Military Booksellers. We hope you enjoy your visit and that you will wish to make us a regular port of call.

Marine & Cannon Books was established in February 1983 and we specialize in Naval, Maritime, Military & Aviation Fine and Rare Antiquarian and Out-of-Print Books and Ephemera - the latter including original Manuscripts, Engravings, &c.  We are members of the ABA (Antiquarian Booksellers' Association) and ILAB (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers) so you can buy with confidence, and as all payments are made via Google Checkout your personal and credit or debit card details enjoy full security.

We operate two departments, one dealing with Naval & Maritime items (Michael Nash) ; the other dealing with Military & Aviation items (Diane Churchill-Evans) - see below. We hold a stock of some 10,000 books but not every title is on this website, so if after browsing you are unable to find the title you are looking for please contact us and we will see if we can help you. We also have a small selection of Merchant Shipping (sail & steam) in the bookshop of the Merseyside Maritime Museum, Albert Dock, Liverpool. Why not pay us a visit ?

We issue four free 120-page catalogues per annum with a selection of books & ephemera in our subject fields If you care to send us your name and address we will be delighted to add you to our mailing list and send you a copy of our current catalogue. Some 99% of our octavo (and smaller) format books with dust jackets have their jackets protected with the finest quality sleeves on the market which we specially import from California. Many of our large format books are also protected in this manner.
